The Brief

Just before the French Revolution, in a forest outside Berlin, a band of libertines expelled from Louis XVI's court meet the legendary German seducer and freethinker, the Duc de Walchen (Helmut Berger), to recruit him for their mission rejecting authority and moral boundaries. An evening of strategizing descends into a Sadean night of pansexual competition.
